UserK: You're welcome! And I already do use an emulator :) I'm a big emulator advocate, I just wanted the chance to experience TGL on something a bit more portable and nostalgic than my laptop.

Arseniy: Yep! I only have two others, but they work just great :) (Donkey Kong Classics, and Ninja Gaiden, in case you're curious.)

Upon inspecting my cartridge thoroughly, I suspect it could be a problem with the cartridge itself. On the inside of the cartridge where you would insert it into a system, I notice there are a few gold bars missing from the chip. I'm attaching pictures for you guys to see, can you tell me if your TGL carts also look this way? My cart is an NTSC-U version, so I guess if you have PAL or Famicom versions it might be different from mine, I don't really know.

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I was on here.

I recently acquired a Retro Duo Portable 2.0 that plays NES and SNES cartridges, and I went and ordered myself my very own copy of The Guardian Legend!  :bluelander: :heart0: I'm glad to say I own a copy now, however, the music plays absolutely horribly on my RDP 2.0  :'( I've been kinda bummed about but trying to enjoy the fact that I now own the game. It's just unfortunate it should have such a problem because I have no NES to play it on.

Anyway, I was wondering; if there are any users on here who own a Retro Duo Portable 2.0, do your TGL cartridges work in yours? Any input would be much appreciated  :) thanks!

Lol, this appears to be a rather empty section of the board. I suppose as long as people will find it here it's good.

I could think of no better place to drop off my passwords than right here! Please feel free to try them out; they're of my first successful completed run of TGL and should display 100% items in the select menu. This also includes all optional corridors. Enjoy!

This leaves only the final encounter to be completed! If any of you decide to try them out, let me know if there are any typos. :D

Note: If I have posted this in the wrong section, I apologize!

EDIT: In fact, I believe I have posted this in the wrong section. I was unaware that Wonderland refers to a different experience of the original game using a code. Please relocate this thread accordingly. My apologies again!

I know, it makes me sad. I wish I was talented enough to provide quality fanart. :/

Thank you for the link! Lots of cool goodies to be seen by fellow fans :) it's nice to see passion for the game.

Ah thanks for the links guys, but these are the images I already have.

Maybe I should have clarified: I'm looking for any possible versions of these images where they are *not* cut off at the edges. I just have a hard time believing the artist drew them exactly like that with edges all cut off.

Perhaps my search is in vain! :/ I have tried every possible combination of keywords on quite a number of image sites and Google Images as well, and have only turned up the sum of pictures that can already be found here.

Regardless, thank you all for your help!  :heart0: :heart0: :heart0:

General Talk - simple and fun / Please help!

Hello! I discovered The Guardian Legend earlier this year via a video on Cinemassacre's YouTube channel, went to play it, and immediately fell in love! I currently have a YouTube series of videos I'm working on; a 100% item completion walkthrough of the game! But I'm not here to advertise, I'm actually here to ask for help.

I'm in search of a couple images which I believe exist in full size SOMEwhere on the internet, but I cannot find them anywhere and I'd just like to know if my quest is in vain or if there's still hope. The images are as follows: (Note that these images are found on this site; I would like to know if any un-cropped versions exist)

They are fantastic pieces of course, and I have no purpose other than having a collection of Miria images to use for my screensaver :P I just love her. Please help me out if you know anything, and thank you for taking the time to read this! :bluelanderbig:
