hey uh, how is the new randomizer going? i was playing a random seed i generated on 2.0 and my game ended early due to entering corridor 0 in "jerks" world that i generated.

Not gonna lie. The organic corridor is is pretty fire.

Tgl mode has only black screen with credits rolling. Full game mode has ship passing by with the portrait of the guardian.

Fix 3 was a very handy feature to have. It had saved a lot of time. These are nice fixes though as it restores balance to the game.

Why is it that after picking up the 5th shield you speed up naturally?

how can i find out if i have the most up to date patch on my game. i think its patched the the latest from your site optomon.

Nice, it would be great to be able to play through the whole game with all 20 corridors and shops open while with maxed out inventory XD although it would be greater (but it would require a separate hack file) that corridors that are not from Area 9 and 10 get way too easy this way


Although i'd still say 31000 chips is still better than 2400 chips in your own version, though  ;D

BTW: I am not sure if it's because of the password I used; when I used the bb3b password the boss enemies have insanely huge HPs, dispite that my twin-sabre is at level 3... (will post a video of it soon)

I think it's the shield.
after you pick up several shields her speed increases. been to long since i played the game to exactly remember but both the rapid fire and shield contribute to movement speed. rapid fire is more noticable at 1st.

i'll test it out after i get up today!

Works great! absolutely no screen jitters or anything for that matter. final boss problems are gone. you can't hit the red guy till the other two fall. checked the room that usually sends me to unknown places and its clear. i'll have to replay through the entire game again to see if anything comes up. seems like its a green light to me. the game restarted on me but its probably nothing to worry about. i left it paused to post and took a long time to resume play i was brought back to the title screen without having to hit reset

what optomon did was inject the sound code written for one game to another. the way i interpreted it was that it can be done but the vital area of the RAM in use would need to be relocated to other areas for it to work. IE if you tried to play his CV2 rom it would only play the music.

" You cannot actually play the game unfortunately, as the newly imported sound engine overwrites certain vital ram from the original game that I didn't bother to move around."

i need to FINISH the game but i am simply just to tired when i get home from work. its been a while so the gauntlet will be interesting to see again.
i was able to beat the game but the last boss fell like nothing when i switched weapons and was hitting the red boss. i thought i was getting the orange and blue ones 1st this time since i got the pattern down. guess i was wrong.

i haven't beat the game yet but i have faced the final boss. i don't remember any of my hits registering on any of the enemies. they kept flying off the screen and other things. i thought i had to relearn a patter and time everything right because that boss type doesn't receive damage till he stops to shoot the missles.

once fireball reaches level 2 its the ultimate secondary for most of the game because it cuts projectiles. figuring out how to get the required upgreade for it was the challenge here
