I only recorded up to the end of Corridor 1 in this one, might continue some time later.
I'll have to admit that using the bouncing medusa as the Cor1 boss threw me off balance for a bit.

Nah, more that I wasn't expecting mini bosses to appear as actual Corridor Guardians
But it was way easer than Fleepa in original I think. I guess there will be really hard stuff later tho.
There was a hardcorised Fleepa at the end of Corridor 11; had too much fun with that one though XD (too bad it died rather too quickly)

If you used Anegorami's map plugin you would not lost anywhere. It's really handy.

The reason for getting "lost" in map 2 is because of that barrier - i had to take a HUGE detour when I realised i missed something - back - and again when i want to get out. So it was almost like running the marathon.

If I could record video while play on FCEUX I would record you a tactics against some bosses. But FCEUX takes much more CPU so I can't record vids with it. I record with VirtuaNES but I play on FCEUX because MaPs plugin works only with it.

Are you using the latest version os FCEUX? Mine's 2.1.5 and set the recording compression to "uncompressed" - it barely have any effect on my gameplay [just make sure you have a LOT of space for it...]
You record the movie and then make export to avi? I record live with CamStudio ;D

Without the not-so-epic boss fight at the end of corridor 5 though...
So there was red optomon in the fly stage before on the ground. I don't remember how did I beat him but I think from the 1st try. But he don't throws the fast weed in this version.
[edit] oh yes I remember now, wasted few dozens on EE on him so beat from the first try. Next was the green GrimGrin and I could not beat him and beat him after I made next area.
EE's are my only method to fighting Optomon :-p sucker does too much damage too quick.
After nearly 4 whole months of inactivity and continued inability to clear that damn red optomon (couple with lack of hard drive space P: ), i've decided to totally ***k it and abandon it until i rack up enough powerups to try it again.
So; as things stand, i hope to get the Part 4 of the series (Areas 6 and 7) recorded and uploaded up - although since i am on scheduled uploading it means it won't be up until end April D:

I think it's not possible to kill them. Only with EE. And it's same in original I think.

Really? I remember being able to kill them with ordinary weapons -- maybe another ingame glitch for Optomon to look at?
