If you want the best all around emulator then you should use Bizhawk.
Bizhawk is an emulator which utilizes modified cores of other emulators, and it basically will play most games on its own, and for the handful of consoles that require a special core (ps1 or TG16 for example) you can easily find a bios/core online and just add it to the program with a couple of clicks.

Accuracy rating for bizhawk is fantasic, although a couple of the cores can be pretty system intensive if your computer is a potato.

No question, bizhawk is what i use for 95% of emulation.... provided i am not using a flashcart on my actual console.
