Share your ideas. How do you think we could find more fans to invite to the site?

Everybody keeps buzzing about "facebook" those days. To me, the stream of information involved in social networking is outrageous. If someone is signed, he should look for TGL status there.
As for finding them, I don't really think it's feasible. It's probably easier to let them find us by being viral somehow. But I don't know how to make this happen!
viral.. what this mean?
It is for example putting stuff on youtube.
Then people like it and link the video on their FB profiles.
Everyone connected to those people see the change in profile. Hopefully a small percentage will do the same.
At a certain point, this becomes very viable marketing.
But I have no idea on what the interesting content could be!
I like the idea so far. The content can be just something with TGL. Maybe a fan art picture. I mean the good ones we have up there.
I am not sure it is enough. Viral content so far exploited a lot of different approaches and I am still not confident with it. Some luck is no doubt involved. I think current prototypes hold a lot of premise. But they must reach a critical mass first.
To be completely honest, I have an idea, but I want to elaborate it first myself. Not sure how it will turn out.
How many prototypes are there besides teremo's? He's doing the "oldskool" one. Wasn't a 3D one around?

I made a post here, at the gaming version of facebook. :redlander:
I hope it attracts some users.
well, as you can see in my signature, I started a Tumblr for TGL
so I think that if my page gets followers or if we help it grow together,
people find this place if I put up some links!
Not sure if it was mentioned anywhere here, but there is a video made by Cinemassacre's Mike Matei (a friend and colleague of James 'AVGN' Rolfe). Here:

I hope his #1 pick will attract more fans ;)

That's how I found out about it ^^
And also, this might not help a lot, but I put the link to this site in the TGL page on wikipedia
Anyone wish to try add the link to wiki?

I meant that I did it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Guardian_Legend Scroll to the bottom and see it
Yeah. Pretty way down but it's nice for CEO however a link from wiki :bluelander:
Facebook idea is definitely in the right direction. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to even make a page for TGL, with a link and ads for the site itself.
I'm aware that my blog is super-obscure, but anyway I've placed our impromptu banner on its 'Contact' page. Here: http://e-u-l-mk2.blogspot.com/2012/01/contacts-badges-other-good-stuff.html
Here is a good one... Make a mobile app. The off chance someone searches the market for it, may indeed cause fan awareness. Could be a manual with passwords, links to people whom do walk throughs, facts, ect. Only thing is, not sure how copyright laws work with fan-based apps.
The most liberal mobile store out there is Google Play. So we may consider an Android app first of all
Question is... Does anybody have experience or connections to anyone able to do it? If it gets enough attention on google play, could also make it available for iphone too.
I could probably crack it. But
1- already working on a remake
2- no android hardware available
BTW, checked TGL facebook fan page today. FB is seriously retarded dudes. It breaks up the "like" list in terms of nationality.
So there are like 545 fans on the english page... and only 7 in my localized page.
How much brain damaged is that?
And I don't even understand how to leave a message there... supposing it's possible at all!
WTF... Since when did they do that? Why does it matter where people are from? Facebook strikes again...
Is there a group TGL on facebook?
How to write those people who like the page of the game?
Screw it dude... If you can edit the description, just put something along the lines of "Visit theguardianlegend.com for games, videos, faqs ect." You get the picture. It is pretty lame it doesn't allow any commenting or anything. Especially since the page has 5x the visits compared to our members.
