I played with a fly/walk mode RAM adress $0030 - 00 for walk, 50 for fly. See RAM Codes (http://theguardianlegend.com/forum/index.php/topic,91.0.html) topic in Rom Hack section.
I recorded that as a video but damn! The sound was set to mic, and no sound recorded.
Video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgTcRLD1yPA - the corridor is all empty but there at 1:15 some really cool boss appears. It does nothing but I think it's really cool idea to have something like that in the game.
And here I saved pictures from the video. Not know why for XD

Surprised random works.
I am still amazed by NES games being able to run this without crashing. I suppose that's just me! :skull:
I am surprised by that too. And I have no idea how it works like that. It looks like Object Oriented Programming tho there was no such thing back that days :redlander:
fun. I think it's a good idea to do something similar in the game. :skull: :skull: :skull: :skull: :skull:
