Is there rules? I walked around the map and it has few weapons and upgrage.
Do we need to go into corridor without any weapons?
BTW Attaching VirtuaNes save state so you don't need spend few minutes to enter password.
And for the sake of promotion attach alternative pallete for the game.

No rules. Those map upgrades are fair game. I don't think you can even kill a meteor with your normal gun. With the Shell weapon you have a chance to beat Fleepa at least (though I haven't yet).
WOW! really hard... the asteroids can be killed, 5 shots with 100chips.. I beat fleepa but Zib Zub destroyed me within seconds.. very tough... fleepa didnt do much damage.. but one hit from any asteroid and 0 health... ugh
well the fact that you can walk on the ground level as much as you want makes not possible to count fair score :\
Would be more cool to challenge some hacked game save state or some hack of the game where u go through last level being weak + one or two special weapons.
Emulators not share save states so that create some problem.
It bothers me to start over the adventure mode and walk around collecting stuff. Better to have instant corridor action with very limited fighter :redlander:

Well, it's impossible to block off the ground level with just a password. We can make a rule though for no exploring and no continues. I can make a new password that starts off in the corridor room and removes all the powerups from play. What weapons do you think the player should start with?
A good regular gun is a must!

argh!!!! i cant get past the second boss... i think im going to do a run with save states and see if i cant super cheat my way to the fnal boss.. in which i imgine will be impossible... maybe max rapid, max chips, and at least a level two gun might be more fair lol...

Here's a code with max chips and a level 2 gun. Meteors go down pretty easily with this one so I think you'll be able to get past the Squid boss:

I think the main boss will be impossible with 8 hearts and no defense. Two hits and you're dead. Not much space to dodge all of the homing ship/missiles :bluelander: If you want to jump right to the end to try it out, here's a code that puts you right at Corridor 22 (at least it does for me - let me know if it doesn't work for you):

please give max shield with max chips and lvl 2 sabre as far as life goes 8/9 is more then enough then its just that even the cheapest bosses can kill you if you are hit with a meteor
