When I thought about transforming at any time I was thinking of using the ability to leave the planet and go to another... I then thought of using the transformation to solve puzzles like maybe there's a huge gap in the way and you need to transform to get across... You could also fight enemies while crossing the gaps... Altering the directions of these types of flight patterns also seemed quite cool (flying the classic up as well as: left, right, and even down). Flight at any time could actually be useful for puzzle solving ideas in my opinion! So I vote yes!

Work / Re: The Guardian Legend remake

How about we do Super Smash Flash 2 style controls:
WASD move
UI regular items
OP shoot and/or main item
Space or backspace pause

Of course we'll have a control editor anyway since everyone plays games with a keyboard differently  ;D...

Nyan Cat? really? Nyan is basically the Japanese version of meow and Nyan Cat is a pretty new internet meme (things like Numa Numa, Rick Roll, my personal favorite: DBZ's IT"S OVER 9000!!!, etc.) and I'm pretty sure it's about Nyan Cat trying to find the sweetest (unhealthiest?) galaxy in the world because when I first saw Nyan Cat I played the flash game (yes there's a flash game of Nyan Cat -_-', it's probably on newgrounds if it's not on any other site.) and the flash game's (story?) was like that. The game was basically dodging the greens and catching the desserts.

Hey Arseniy, can you put your music files into a secondary MIDI download? I'm asking because I want to use some of the music in the Zelda Classic version of The Light Within (Remember the comic spin-off I talked about in "What are you busy with?") and the program needs MIDI files to play music.

Hello Zenith! I'm from the US too! I have quite a few questions, but let's stay with the basics! What do you think of the site? How did you get into TGL? What are your plans to help us? I can keep going but that would be too many questions! Please answer atleast one of these in your next reply so I know what kind of person you are XD!

Basic ideas for the sequel / Re: Inventary

Hm... I think I Know what you're getting at! I also think we should have optional EE capacity upgrades later on in the game (Want a bigger bomb bag or quiver? JK :P.).

I loaded your password and you also missed a speed upgrade in the main area! I picked it up and went straight to corridor 21. On ground I felt like I was going super speed (blazing through rooms in mere fractions of seconds), but in SHMUP I felt like I was in more control than ever.

On the SHMUP mode I was thinking more along the lines of Star Fox... Ace Combat was really fun, but it has too much free movement for a SHMUP. Actually this seems more like a remake that fills in the holes if we're just enhancing the original story with more details. With all of the work we've done I would want a sequel instead (randomspriter's story plans are leaning more toward the sequel idea), but I think a more storyline implemented remake would be pretty awesome ;D. I definitely think that if we do a 3D remake we could do a Zelda style (with the blaster and all of the other weapons of course!) labyrinth with a Star Fox style SHMUP mode. The more RPG style of upgrades is awesome as well, and the score could be changed into experience points so that if your experience reaches a certain point you'll get not only a health upgrade like the original, but also some attack, defense and speed as well!

It's really late to add this, but What are your thoughts on a Zelda timeline?

With OoT3D coming out this June and Skyward Sword probably coming out some time by the end of the year, I would like to show my thoughts on the timeline.

The rules are as followed: Split timeline (I'm pretty sure nintendo even admited thet there was a split timeline), no "this doesn't fit so I'm going to put this on a brand new timeline" shit, AND NO GODDAMN CD-I ZELDAS (Zelda Wand of Gamelon, Link Faces of Evil, and Zelda's Adventure weren't even made by Nintendo!)!!!

So here's my timeline:

                                                    Adult /Wind Waker-Phantom Hourglass-Spirit Tracks
Skyward Sword-Minish Cap-Ocarina of Time<
                                                     Child \Majora's Mask-4 Swords-Zelda I-Zelda II\
                                                                                                               4 Swords Adventures
                                                                                                                              |
                                                                                                                  A Link to the Past
                                                                                                                              |
                                                                                                            Oracle of Ages/Seasons
                                                                                                                              |
                                                                                                                   Link's Awakening

I think you can tell the order I placed them in... Anyway! I decided to place Skyward Sword before Minish Cap because of there being a city in the sky in both Minish Cap and Twilight Princess. I think the 4 Swords saga takes place on the child timeline because I placed Minish Cap before Ocarina of Time. I placed A Link to the Past after Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and 4 Swords Adventures because Nintendo claimed that the GBA A Link to the Past's dialog changes were Canon (part of the main story). I put the Oracles after A Link to the Past because the triforce is whole, Ganon is dead (for the most part), Twinrova is still alive in the child timeline, and (Theory of the Trident: Ganon got his trident in 4 Swords Adventures and had it for the rest of the section of the timeline (This would hold the rest of the child timeline in place 100% if this was confirmed, but I have other things that hold it together in large percentages)). Lastly I place my favorite Zelda game: Link's Awakening at the end of the child timeline for a number of reasons: at the "true" end of the oracles Link sets out on a boat instead of going back to Hyrule, The enemies and bosses are very similar to A Link to the Past, it was originally a sequel to A Link to the Past, and the Final Nightmare takes the forms of Aghanim and Ganon (as well as many other bosses from A Link to the Past).

Do you see any flaws? Do you have your own timeline? Please post your own thoughts and/or Ideas on this page :P XD :P.
