Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers Remastered Concept

There was that old fan pixel art for Chip and Dale. Like part 3 or something. And recently the author somehow got inspired and made into a game concept. Which looks quite great. The big dog is a nice surprise if you still remember the old NES Chip and Dale 1,2. There everything was small due to the limitations.

And here is that fan art from 2014:

Fan made NES intros

Some NES games lack of intros. Here are the examples of possible intros for some NES games.

Super Contra NES intro, made of using arcade version graphics. It is a video made in editor:

Mega Man 3 NES intro. An actual game mod. So it could be on actual cartridges:

Changeable Guardian Estique progress

There seems quite a hype around the game from the Compile’s ex-developers. “Changeable Guardian Estique” is a SHMUP with a transformer.

Looks quite nice. However I highly dislike the music. I mean, it’s an OK music it just doesn’t sound like it fits in there.

Astrolancer got its page on Steam

The indie game inspired by The Guardian Legend now has the page on Steam:

Astrolancer on steam

It is not a metroidvania. It has linear progression between levels. Means you walk through a level, reach SHMUP level and then a next walking level. The game has difficulty levels(I guess easy, normal, hard).

Beat ’em up GO signs

One of the common features in Beat ’em up genre is a sign telling to proceed further. Often it says “GO!”

Here is a collage from various Beat ’em ups of the past. Far not all are there of course. Do you know even a half of those? XD

Myst 30 years anniversary

The game Myst from 1993 is 30 years now! Best selling game of that time. Innovative first person adventure puzzle that has big fan base following. There even were books written based on the game’s universe.

We celebrate it with a cool medley of the game’s awesome music.

The Scramble Vice – classic anime mechas

The Scramble Vice – a game in developement with classic looking anime mechas from 80’s-90’s. Yeah they look cool. But what’s cooler than cool is the music in this trailer. It matches so much with that old school vibe, like wow. Makes everything looks 10 times better 😁

Judging by the trailer you can navigate a mecha but also walk out of it, and run around as a human. Which is more dangerous. But as those are police units, you’ll have to go inside buildings to catch criminals.

Watch only with sound ON! Music is the main reason I shared this 🙂
