Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself to The Guardian Legend community. I'm James and I'm a game developer. My first time playing Guardian Legend was sometime around 1990 to 1991 at a friend's house. I spent the night at his place and was glued to his TV playing the game all night long! IMO, this game is a NES hidden gem and I'm shocked it never got an actual sequel.

Well, it just so happens that I've been a game developer since 2007, starting with the original Defense of the Ancients (DotA 1). I'm now co-owner of a studio called Enso Entertainment and just this past year we released a game on Steam called Waifu Fight: Dango Style. Its a combination of Pong, Breakout, and Street Fighter with a hilarious sexualized story. (Think Ranma 1/2)

Anyway, our team is considering completely remaking Guardian Legend in our art style and form. I know you've probable seen this a dozen times but check out our game on Steam and check us on Twitter to let us know what you think. Its amazing that after 30+ years this game still has a loyal dedicated fanbase. After seeing Matt Bozon's curiosity about making a sequel I've been very interested in wanting to "Waifu Style" out this game.
