Hi, my name is Mike.  Thanks for having me.

I made a post over on GameFAQs about a debug menu mystery I remembered from my childhood and someone directed me here.  It's nice to finally meet fans of such a wonderful game.

A little about me...

-  I'm an AVID nostalgia gamer.  I play emulated games on a daily basis, almost.  Everything from NES, GB, SNES, Genesis, PS1 and more.  I play modern games too, of course.  I played Asheron's Call in the early 00's and WoW for a bit.  I'm a software engineering student.  I am a music fanatic-  Anything and everything.  I play in an experimental noise/psych band in Washington, D.C., but I love all kinds of music.  I am a huge advocate of non-interference in video game history.  I LOVE HD remakes of games, so long as they don't violate the original mechanics or storyline of the game.  (Graphics/interface upgrades only please!)

What TGL has meant to me...

-  When I was a kid, I remember being enthralled by TGL's music.  That's what hooked me.  The final, conclusive bars of the theme at the very beginning of the game (the one where you're flying into NAJU).

-  I helped my older cousin map out all the zones and collect weapons.  He played while I watched and recorded notes.  The hardest bosses included the Blue Eyeball that shoots the little snake/hair thingies, the Blue Eyeball monster (the one that steadily loses eyeballs and spews more eyeballs as you damage him) and the red tentacle monster mini-boss in the Cell-like zone of the overworld map.

-  Finally, I bought a copy of my own one day and enjoyed it many times.

So, glad to be here.  Hope to post more.
