Nice video. You can probably ignore the bosses entirely and destroy their bullets instead to increase the score.

Still waiting for the expansion... and then I'll buy the whole package at the same time! 

Laser is very usefull in the levels where there those annoying things that not hit you but eat your shots. I not use often EE against that maybe because it's annoying for me to go to the select screen and change to EE and then back to some other weapon.

Those enemies can't hurt you so don't worry. They are invulnerable to energy weapons (except for the EE weapon I think), however I noticed they are very vulnerable to physical damage. This means you can simply fly into them without firing and they will be destroyed and you won't even take damage from it.  

Hm... this is a tricky one. The first one is nice because it's the very first boss you beat and it has a very interesting design. The eyeballs are good too because you can use them to hoard a lot of experience points (Score). The final boss is also very cool, being the toughest and meanest of them all...
Ok. My choice is the final boss.  

Crystal. No doubt. But the password screen also had a nice beat to it. 

The fireball is very useful in many cases as it burns through laser beams, most enemies and all projectiles. Another good weapon is the back waves. It's great against some mini-bosses, but takes time to be effective. So the sword is sometimes a preferable weapon against the tougher ones imo. The red/blue/green tentacle mini-boss is a good example of where the back waves can be used if one is very skilled at the controls, but the sword will probably finish them off quicker though. If one has enough shields to take some damage, that is. The EE is also a very useful weapon against bosses like Grimgrin. But I got to say... my absolute fave is the fireball.

I say Miria is a unique creature that has always watched over earth. She's the guardian of earth and I think her origins should remain a mystery to make her look more powerful in a future game.
And similar to what Ragnarok says, I would also prefer an extended version of the original TGL. Maybe an update to 16 bit graphics at the most. The more advanced a game gets the more bugs can happen to it. Well, that's how I feel about it.
