*Sigh* Really I'm letting myself get too worked up over something that I shouldn't be. I am truly sorry that I let my nerd rage get the best of me.

After saying that, I should shut up, and disappear again before I let my self get worked up again.

A sequel created by the fans is nothing more then a fan game at best, to be VERY blunt. Not to mention you are showing a significant lack of respect for the source material. Saying that an NES game's story didn't hook you is also a pretty pathetic reason to discard it. It is like saying that Mega Man 1's story about robots didn't hook me, so I'm going to pretend to it is about a magical pixie boy instead.

TGL's true story will always be what was in the manuals and games of the japanese and american versions. The only entity who can change that is the original creators.

You do realize Arseniy, that regardless of what is shown by the poll we will still hold on to what we personally believe Miria to be, right?

Actually, seeing as that has been done often in Japanese media, I wouldn't put it past the creators to have intended that.

Sorry, I haven't been around in a while.

I'm going to be blunt here. Both the Japanese and American allude to, at least, Miria being artificial in someway. The only reason she is even called a guardian is because Boarderbund  need a word to replace Guardic. Obviously the term Guardian worked better because no one knew about the MSX game Guardic in America. Albeit both versions being somewhat cryptic as to whether or not she can further be reproduced, I'm guessing the D.P. in System D.P.  stands for Developmental Prototype. That would help explain why there is only one of her. I don't recall either source ever mentioning her possessing an "Earth Super Spirit". However, it doesn't say she doesn't either.

Then again, maybe like any legend, Miria's story should be left up to multiple interpretations and should be left that way? ???

True, and I have an idea of how to make a level editor in theory for the game so that others can make custom labyrinths for the game with out needing MMF.

Oh hell yeah. Very easily. MMF excels at 2D games like TGL.

Two modes? Well, thing is I've seen just about every thing be made in MMF. But, could you be more specific?

According to Mediafire, the file no longer exists. ^_^;

Actually, that isn't a bad idea considering just how many potential takes on the story there could be. This way, everyone can have their own version of the legend.

Alright, I've added links to the side bars of both journals.
:D{You mean it is your journals???
Wow thanks! BTW TGL shrine doesn't work at all. I even not know how it did look like and what was there. Since I m just tired to wait a sequel I decide to start do something to make it happen!

Yep, both journals belong to me.  ;)

But, yeah. It is kind of sad when the site went down. It was my first guide to The Guardian Legend when I had just learned of the game.  :-[  In away, my role-play journals were a way for me to keep the interest for The Guardian Legend going for me.

As far as a sequel goes, I am much more for remaking the first game before going on to making a sequel because a firm foundation for what the TGL universe is needs to be established before anything else.

I've programmed with Multimedia Fusion before, so I know my way around it. Multimedia fusion 2 is just somewhat small incremental update.

As for Game Maker, I would recommend avoiding because of stability issues on newer systems.

Producing with C++ or some other programming language would be very difficult as well. I've tried and failed at learning C++.
