Oh hell yeah. Very easily. MMF excels at 2D games like TGL.
We probably should start with MMF, this way it's better chance to make it open source and more available to edit for designers. I just never really heard of anything much than gamemaker and multimedia fusion.

One of the main questions - would it be possible to make two modes in MF?

They take out the life and gun. Some games makes downgrade of the gun but it counts as a life loss... I would prefer it to be like that.

Yay that's cool!
With the emulator it is possible to add the missed key by the cheat tool.
I heard only about jjjj going to check this one too!
Maybe should be created some thread or something like that with all the really cool codes.

You mean a classic game remake with a better gfx and just little gameplay changes?
Well I doubt we going to do that but! My idea is that the open source project could be done in a way with many alternatives and so someone could just create a close to original game.
My personal dream is to have a project with pretty open possibilities to create alternative stories. Also to have a different heroes and they should be portable between the stories. Wouldn't it be awesome to play favorite story with other character and it means some other weapons :bluelander:

Even the first level is hard. I did stumbled upon this game before but turned it off immediatelly cuz not liked the style. Doesn't seems a bad game at all.

$ just means addresses. And when I say for example, $3C I mean $003C. So $4AC would be $04AC etc. Should work in VirtuaNES.
Very nice cheat adress. Works in VirtuaNES

I meant that it could be a gameplay change from horizontal to vertical. Did I miss something? It seems that gameplay in Gradius V has horisontal only.
