I really do have problem with the second form of the Optomon (I think it's either on Area 5 or 6, don't remember ...).

Me and my brother was SO thrilled with excitement when we discovered this mode by accident!  
At first, we didn't realize it, we just played the first stage normally, LOL, if we had turned the game off then we wouldn't have found out.
But I don't remember how far we managed in this mode, I think we gave up after a good while,
even if the patience we had with video games back then was much greater than mine is now

TGL mode is hard...i can never get very far unless i use save states

really? i did beat it on console fine. I think the trick is that u have to kill as much as possible because you get special weapons by the score you got!

I can always trick my friends that never played TGL before into playing it and making them think it's just a shoot em up game with this mode. lol
