Hi everyone, nice to meet you all:)
I never knew before there are lots of TGL fans.

I have a story about this game.
I played TGL at age 3 or 4. Too bad, i couldn't remember the title of this game, but the music, gameplay and character burned in my memory. Back then no internet connection in my house until several years later. For years  i asked my friends about this game title, but it seem none of them ever played it. I search everywhere  and finally i found it this year when i watch youtube about Nintendo Power, i recognized the picture of planet Naju.
That's it! The Guardian Legend!
for me, it was one of best game i ever played. I wonder if there's a sequel of this game?

Welcome welcome! and yeah. I know that torturous feeling when you have played a game back in those days but don't remember the title, and any search for it came up blank. I have had a few  myself with old NES games too

As for the sequel, i reallydoubt there'll ever be one because the company that published the game: Compile, went bust in 2003.

Although we do have a fan-make hack of the game that is essentially the same but much harder than the regular TGL. A bit like "SMB: Lost Level" to the original SMB, so to speak.

Have similar story about other game. With Guardian Legend there was one problem for me. It was in japanese.
Could beat it few years later when got english cart into my hands.

Hello Lycoris. I'm afraid there are not "lots" of fans. We are a few but we are good! And yes, there will be a sequel of the game, some people around here rocks too much. Sure it won't be official but it will sure be mind-blowing as the original so it can be remembered forever by little children
