A little bit more music found today. This one is not so good but it’s OK. It’s rather like medley with various songs from the game:
So a lot of you probably heard of JJJJJJJ password in The Guardian Legend. But there is a problem. You are sent to the Area 8 without the cross key. So you can’t go out.
Today I’ve got an idea. I went to the password generator and inserted the JJJJJJJJJ code. And then I set the cross key check box. So it generated the new password which does the same but with the key! And the main reason I want to share the password is because it has only 2 characters changed. So it’s also very easy one.

So now there is a question is this setup can be beaten? Maybe someone will check that out and share the result on the forum or in the discord chat: https://discord.gg/93C68CT
[EDIT]well I checked it and – the corridor 9 is completed but there is no key for zone 10. Which means this – even if there was cross key then JJJJ still was not possible to beat.
I came back to the password generator and added the missing key. Which makes it not really the thing which we would want. But, if someone wants:

This one has the bended rectange key.

Once again the guy jzpfplaying recorded something from The Guardian Legend soundtrack. He records a lot of tunes for different games. But our interest is TGL 🙂 So lets check it out!
Very nice fan art based on the original Japanese cover art. Or maybe drawn over.
The Japanese cover was made in somewhat H. R. Giger style. This one also has something from that creepy feeling of Giger’s works (most known for xenomorph from Alien franchise).

I think if the game was in this kind of style then it would be creepy. Or even a horror. Not sure if I would want that.
A guy shared some password. He found it randomly in childhood. This password starts with 2615 chips. But! When you take the red lander the max chips do not increase. He also not sure if the game is possible to finish from this point. It was long ago. He said that it’s probably the one where there is no final boss. User Tishero on discord, reported that after beating the 10’s corridor the final one not appears. So this is unbeatable.
Sometimes there is art inspired by our loved game. I think maybe I should create a specific gallery section for this. There is not much fan stuff going on currently. The Guardian Legend NES Commercial (1989) found on old VHS. How is this look for you? I have never seen this commercial in the game reviews. Channel owner says it was aired on KCAL 9 California in 1989. Good thing he(or someone) recorded it!
The Guardian Legend NES review by SNESdrunk. Video. Thanks to channels like this the game did not went to abyss yet. And new players have a chance to know about this NES gem. It probably deserves to be in top-10 NES games.
