@atrauce shared photos of the interview he took from Compile company. I wish I knew Japanese to read it π I created a new section in the Gallery and called it Scans. Will place stuff like magazines articles in there.

@Francis Coulombe has some kind of a challenge of changing screenshots of the old pixel games into anything else pixel. Upgrade, remix, mashup and whatever. This time he suggested The Guardian Legend in his Casual Pixel Shack.
A while ago I posted the sprite sheet of Miria. Here is the author made it into some simple prototype. I don’t think it will go anywhere really serious but it’s amusing.
In 90’s in Russia a lot of people glued stickers on their fridges. Recently, some street artist with the nickname A11c1ear made large copies of these 90s stickers and put them on the streets. A lot of people felt huge nostalgia about these.
I don’t know how it was in other countries but the themes should be familiar. They are mostly about worldwide popular stuff like games, movies, cartoons etc. Like Mortal Kombat, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles to name a few.
Here is the video showing those huge stickers:
And here is few examples of 90s fridges:

All Sonic fans are probably already know about this. I am not that much a fan of Sonic, but I love stuff like this. Music from the game played with a full symphonic orchestra. With a good arrangement it sounds great and enjoyable!
This was put on youtube a week ago and I found out only today.
I set the start time mark to 14:50. It’s where the actual concert starts. And before that is some random music from the game and covers.

So are there any NES Rygar fans? This might be interesting for you. A fan made game Rygar Vengeance is finished and ready to play. It’s kinda like a remake or a custom version with few more possibilities. It adds little a mix from the arcade version. Which breaks cohesivity in the style of the game.
The video introduction doesn’t show enough of the gameplay tho. He asks 16$ for the game. I don’t know if it’s worth it.
There is only one guy(SeanPwnery) recorded any gameplay of the game yet. I am not sure if the circular attack costs something, or is it obtained later. He doesn’t use it for some reason. And I saw in previous demo videos that in this game Rygar can do the circular attack. Like it was in the arcade version. Was it removed?
